Meet The Team

Dr. Jen was inspired by her first cousin who is a chiropractor, and it seems that they were destined to follow that path, as she later learned that they had a great grandfather who was also a chiropractor.

Dr. Jen attended the University of Wisconsin extension campus in Marinette, WI, and then matriculated to National College of Chiropractic. In 1994, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1995. She opened a practice in Beaver Dam, WI in 1997, and enjoyed 27 wonderful years serving the families of Dodge County and the surrounding areas. Dr. Jen is extremely passionate about educating every human on the planet about optimal health and its connection to the spine. In WI Dr. Jen hosted a 30 minute radio show for several years, appeared on local television, regularly gave public spinal stress screenings and corporate wellness seminars, and held weekly spinal health care classes at her office. Having ideal posture is paramount for healthy nerve signals traveling from the brain and through the spine to every cell, organ and tissue in the body, so it is the very beginning source of health and healing.

In addition to leading her patients to optimal health through natural chiropractic care, Dr. Jen also teaches nutrition guidelines to ensure the best resources for healing and repair. Everything we ingest is either adding to inflammation and breakdown or providing vital raw materials for regenerating our tissues. Healthy eating is the best self love!

Dr. Jen moved to California to enjoy more Vitamin D with her partner and husband of over 35 years, and joined the Optimal Performance Chiropractic family in order to continue to provide exceptional service to the families of Southern California.
